"Short version: State Farm is great but Nicole Ferrero's office is full of people that will give you wrong information to the point that it literally costs you extra money. pros: everyone I have dealt with has been pretty friendly cons: see below 1) I was being charged extra because they had my vehicles features listed incorrectly. I caught this mistake myself. Apparently, according to the person I spoke to, VIN numbers don't tell them all of the vehicle's features (i.e. 4 wheel drive) so rather than calling me to seek clarification they just make assumptions which coincidentally were not only inaccurate but also resulted in higher rates. Seems sketchy but okay, I'll give the benefit of the doubt. 2) I was late on a payment. I called in to make the payment which was taken by someone in the office. I was told that my policy had canceled (I was unaware) but paying a certain amount would reinstate my policy. I was assured that i was covered/insured before the phone call ended. 3) time goes by, about 5 weeks, and I hadn't received a bill nor had I received new cards in the mail. I called the office again and to my surprise I was told that I didn't have coverage. I asked what happened to the payment I made and I was told that it was just floating out there in space. so I was unknowingly without insurance for well over a month by this time even though they had record of my payment. 4) I purchased a new policy through Nicole Ferrero's office (in hindsight this was a mistake on my part) but because my coverage had lapsed severely due to the previous mistake #3) my rate went up by about 50%. I was told I would get a check in the mail for the payment I made that was never applied to anything. This alone was very frustrating. I am literally paying for their mistakes and misguidance. 5) about 6 weeks goes by and I still haven't got a check even though I am making my payments. So with very little confidence I called to seek an explanation. Yes, I had to initiate the conversation because I wasn't notified pro-actively. At this point I can't say I was surprised. I was told that I would not be getting a check, but instead would be credited for the amount of the payment. Would I be credited in one lump sum? Nope, they're going to sprinkle smaller credits across the life of the policy until the amount credited equals what I was owed. 6) now I want to leave State Farm but doing so would mean I don't get all of my money back so I have to wait. I now have zero confidence and zero trust in this office. I may just call State Farm to see if I can switch agents instead of leaving the company. Stay clear of Nicole Ferreros office."

"I chose Nicole Ferrero’s State Farm agency because of her posting on a couple of media sites. I did not see any other agents with a decent listing, so that sent me a negative message. I called for an appointment and was warmly greeted by Susan. I was in process of purchasing a high end home; which did not materialize. Susan had thoroughly gone over the coverage for this home. I told her the deal had fallen out and were I to find another property, I would contact her. She was most understanding and gracious. When I did contract for a different property; I called Susan and we started over. I found her to be very knowledgeable; competent, and professional.
